Today I'm sharing an album to you all....

Akiko Shikata- RAKA

Unlike most of the J-Pop songs, her album's songs mainly contain most of the ethnic songs. It was hard to heard what language she used to sang because inside her songs are mix with Japanese, Italian, English, Latin and even French.

Here's the information where I found from a forum/blog which I could not remember...

What is rAKA?
What is rAKA?
In Polynesian mythology, Raka Maomao is the god of wind; in Polish, raka stands for Cancer (the Crab) and cancer (disease); in Finnish, Rakkaus means to love; Croatian Hrvatski, the wheel car carrying dead body in funeral. However, this rAKA is from Ancient Sanskrit ”रअक” , which refer to”The Night of Full Moon.”

When the first day I heard her songs (which from a game called Ar Tonelico), I was so fascinate by her songs, it is because I never heard this type of songs in my life, and it already took my breath away from the first day. And soon I kept search about her background, her songs and everything till I realise that Akiko Shikata is not only singer, but a composer as well. And from that day, she became one of my favourite singer in my life (I really love ethnic songs which it took a lot of time for me to search for it)

Even though I'm a big fan of Akiko Shikata, yet I have no any album of her. It is kinda hard to search her album around in Klang area. I'm don't know whether KL got her album or not, if anyone knows, please let me know.

This is the game that I heard her songs from.

Now what I have checked from her main web, it seems she also had another album known as Navigatoria which is came out earlier than RAKA album.

It is kinda headache for me to type anything about her information, if you want to know about
* It will be recommend using google translator if you want to understand the information that well...
